Randomly, in the car, on the way home from school today.
Lucy: "What does 'future' mean?
me: "Well, yesterday is the past, today is the present and tomorrow is the future."
Lucy: "okay."
me: "So tell me something you'll do in the future."
Lucy: "Eat ice cream, after dinner."
me: "Yep. And what did you do in the past?"
Lucy: "I learned how to walk."
She is the most interesting little creature.
